Pelican Credentials LLC — Employee Document Notification Program  ·  Effective Date: May 12, 2026

1. Program Description

Pelican Credentials LLC operates an automated text message notification platform that home health agencies use to inform their employees and caregivers of upcoming and expired employment document deadlines. Messages are sent on behalf of the employing agency for employment-related communications — credential expiration notices, onboarding instructions, and employment application links — and are never used for marketing or advertising.

2. Consent to Receive Messages

Employees receive SMS notifications through this platform because they have opted in during the onboarding process at their employing agency. As part of new hire paperwork, employees complete a consent form where they provide their mobile phone number within the same form and are presented with a clear SMS disclosure. Employees must actively check an unchecked consent box agreeing to receive SMS messages. The checkbox is not pre-selected. Consent is voluntary and not a condition of employment. All opt-in records are retained in the employee's personnel file.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. Employees may receive up to 3 messages per document per expiration cycle depending on how far in advance the document is expiring.

4. Message and Data Rates

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on the employee's mobile carrier plan.

5. Opt-Out

To stop receiving text messages at any time, reply STOP to any message. A confirmation will be sent and no further messages will be delivered. Note that opting out may affect the ability to receive important employment compliance notifications.

7. Supported Carriers

Our messaging program supports all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. Carrier support may vary.

8. Limitation of Liability

Pelican Credentials LLC is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier issues or technical failures beyond our reasonable control.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date. Continued use of the notification program constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.
